Born and raised in Hong Kong, Esther holds a deep love for art, education, and cultural translation. Viewing art as perceptive lens and connective tissue, she takes particular interest in its relationship with storytelling, attuning to the gravity of artists’ lives as text and texture in their work.
Esther received her B.A. in Anthropology and a minor in Cinema and Media Studies from Wellesley College (‘2021), before completing her M.Ed. at Harvard University (‘2022). Pursuing her doctoral studies in Anthropology and Education at Columbia University, Esther advocates for art as crucial to drawing closer to our worlds.
Since joining Paul Kyle Gallery, she continues to discover and hone art as tool for unravelling human dynamism and expressing creative depth.
Esther speaks Cantonese and Mandarin, and can assist in these languages.
