Internationally renowned, David Spriggs is a trailblazer in the world of art, celebrated for his awe-inspiring, large-scale 3D ephemeral-like installations and public works. Since 1999, he has been captivating audiences with a technique he pioneered—layering transparent images to create truly unique masterpieces.

In his monumental works, Spriggs meticulously paints two to three hundred sheets of transparencies, ingeniously installing them to craft mesmerizing three-dimensional images that seemingly float in space. These creations transcend the confines of conventional paintings, transforming into immersive sculptural wonders. With every movement, they evolve and shift, becoming dynamic and experiential "paintings" that captivate both time and space, engaging the audience in an active dialogue.

As each of Spriggs' works carries the essence of a painting while defying the boundaries of a two-dimensional framework, his art emerges as a new realm of artistic expression, both captivating and thought-provoking.
