PKG Anniversary Edition

welcome to our

SATURDAY EVENING POST

February 24th, 2024

All human activity reaches its highest and noblest when it succeeds in bringing body, heart and mind into touch with spirit. Art can express eternal truth, it is not limited to the expression of form and appearance.”

- Sri Aurobindo

Exactly one year ago, we celebrated the opening of ‘Joseph Kyle: The Soul of an Artist’. It was a celebration of the career and life of Joseph Kyle, of his centenary, and of our achievement as a gallery.

This remarkable celebration was embraced with the love and support of our family, friends, clients, and all the art enthusiasts who came to pay homage. The energy enveloping the exhibition was charged with a sense of magic and vitality. The Joseph Kyle exhibition was exceptionally poignant for Paul, it was an embodiment of the continuation of Joseph Kyle’s legacy.

This legacy transcends mere presence of the artworks; it resonates deeply within Paul, within the gallery’s spirit, and through the profound, inspirational impact Joseph Kyle had on his students. He continues to influence and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him and experience his art.

His use of colour and form, and the deeply emotional and intellectual responses they evoke, continue to touch the lives of many who are seeking truth and beauty.

Our special friends and family joined us for the dinner that celebrated the centenary and opening of the exhibition.

Today also marks the opening of this gallery space seven years ago.

We express our profound gratitude to everyone, for not only the past seven years of our gallery at this location, but also for believing in our vision and offering your remarkable continual support for our future endeavours.

The elan, wonder, and power that define Joseph Kyle's exhibition are not confined to this single exhibition; rather, they permeate our lives at every moment, enriching our daily experiences and every exhibition we host.
