Paul Kyle Gallery is pleased to present our Fall 2026 Group Exhibition. Across this exhibition, affinities emerge between paintings made through remarkably different approaches.  The exhibition develops through both the individual encounter with a work and the broader relationships visitors discover as they move through the gallery.

Bernadette Phan’s paintings, presented in the gallery for the first time, bring an extraordinary density of touch to this conversation. Their thousands of individual marks invite us to move between the impression of the whole and the particularity of each small deposit of paint. At close range, the raised points catch light differently, revealing a surface whose apparent continuity contains innumerable variations.

In Marion Landry’s paintings, geometry offers a means of examining the subtleties of light and atmosphere. Her freehand approach preserves the presence of the body within carefully measured relationships of colour and form, giving their order a human sensitivity.  Her paintings make perception a bodily and spatial experience, drawing attention to how our position before a work contributes to what we see.

Revisiting paintings from Daniel Mullen’s Echoes exhibition extends this investigation of perception. The relationship between colour and the linen’s weave produces a luminosity that changes with distance, gradually revealing the structure within what initially appears to be a field of light.

We were especially pleased to welcome George Rammell, whose sculpture Night Walker is included in the exhibition.

We are also featuring work from a number of other represeted and collected artists including Edward Burtynsky, Fred Herzog, Ronald T. Crawford, Jack Bush, Robert Kelly, Joseph Kyle, and more.
